One of the goals of sobermusicians.com, is to offer up web space to poets and writers, among other artists. This seems a natural fit for this 2D medium, the written word as an artistic instrument of expression. It doesn't require any special playback software, nor does it need to be upgraded with each new Windows version. The word just is. It captures a passing moment in the writer's imagination, like a snap shot does for the photographer. We offer the use of these pages to you, in the hope that your words may light the creative spark of others; or maybe just soothe them as they read, in their times of turmoil, while in the process providing you with a media outlet for your creativity. Here's the cool part... It's all free. You may have a portfolio full of essays and writings, or you may have one single, solitary poem. A few verses about love or recovery, or a short story on the change of seasons... A satirical rambling, a passioned vent... All and any of it may have a place here.
