...THIS time. I think my last 5 days sick on the home detox trip roughly coincided with Time2Surrender's dryout. I an hoping that THIS time is definitely the last. I'm just now getting to where I can string together some words to make a coherent thought, and my esophagus is about 85 percent. Played a very low key gig last night at a local supper club and did OK, but got home and met the usual accusations of "you've been drinking" (hadn't!), but I know that the rebuilding of the trust factor is going to take some time.
Spent some hours with one of my sponsors today, discussing my sobriety, possible relapse triggers, wild edibles, odonata (dragonflies) quantum mechanics, spiritual disciplines, my sobriety, the historical fallacies of the "Christian" church, Kabala, my sobriety, and trust in relationships- pretty much in that order, as well as I can remember. It was a good respite from the real world- he lives in a very secluded, tranquil spot that he is constantly working with vis a vis his flower garden
Wow! That's a BIG picture! More later... .
